{"id":390,"date":"2015-11-25T08:05:43","date_gmt":"2015-11-25T08:05:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stage.omg.com\/mena\/phd-uae-awarded-bronze-at-the-effie-mena-awards-2015\/"},"modified":"2024-09-19T19:10:00","modified_gmt":"2024-09-19T19:10:00","slug":"phd-uae-awarded-bronze-at-the-effie-mena-awards-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/omnicommedia.com\/mena\/phd-uae-awarded-bronze-at-the-effie-mena-awards-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"PHD UAE awarded Bronze at the Effie MENA awards 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10118\" src=\"https:\/\/omnicommediagroup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Lurpak-Case-Study-Web.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>PHD UAE has been awarded Bronze at the Effie MENA awards 2015.\u00a0The award is in recognition for the Lurpak Cooks Range for Arla in the new product and service category.<\/p>\n<p>In 2015\u00a0the team were tasked to\u00a0help launch a new global range of butter products for Danish brand Lurpak.<\/p>\n<p>The problem was though, people in the region don\u2019t use butter like the they do in Europe, butter is used for sauces not for basting or pastry making- we had to find a way of making the Lurpak Cooks Range relevant to local consumers.<\/p>\n<p>We took the global creative assets and reshot them using local brand ambassadors who skillfully weaved the brands into local cuisine using innovative recipes.
